Why I’m Running

My name is Krishna Raisinghani and North Vancouver has given me everything. It shaped my upbringing, my values, and how I think about community.
 

30 years ago, my parents ran a small business near Lonsdale / 15th and started to build our lives. That experience gave me an early view into hard work, local business, and the role that neighbourhoods play in people’s lives.

Growth brings real opportunity, but it also asks more of our local leadership.

We need to plan carefully, communicate clearly, and make sure people feel heard along the way. Neighbourhoods should stay liveable, decisions should reflect everyday realities, and the choices we make today should be grounded in long-term thinking.
 

I’m running for Council because I care about helping North Vancouver grow with thoughtfulness and integrity.

My focus is thoughtful growth, safe and accessible neighbourhoods, thriving local businesses, and trusted leadership that brings people into the conversation.

I want to help build a city that works well for young professionals, families, seniors, workers, small businesses, and the next generation. A city that protects what people love, while improving what needs attention for the future.
