North Vancouver is growing. My priority is to ensure that growth works for the people who live here: the right homes, infrastructure that keeps pace, and careful review of the projects that will shape our city for decades.
I WILL:

Champion the homes we need: secured rental, three-bedroom family homes, seniors housing, below-market and non-market homes, and well-designed missing middle.

Make essential worker housing a clear City priority, with measurable targets for homes within reach of healthcare workers, educators, first responders, and others our community depends on.

Advocate for services and infrastructure that keep pace with growth, with major projects assessed against transportation, schools, childcare, parks, utilities, healthcare, and other community needs.

Strengthen protections for renters, with clear relocation support and a practical path for eligible tenants to return when replacement rental homes are completed.

Support streamlined, predictable approvals for housing that meets community needs, with clear rules and thoughtful review for major projects.

Strengthen arts, culture, and community life. Support local artists, public art, performances, and events that make our neighbourhoods more vibrant, inclusive, and welcoming.

Safe & Welcoming Neighbourhoods
Everyone should be able to move through our city safely and feel welcome in its public spaces.
Kids walking to school. Seniors getting to appointments. People of every age and ability.
I WILL:

Make it easier to get around. Review our worst traffic bottlenecks and intersections, make practical improvements based on data and community feedback, and work with TransLink to improve transit in underserved neighbourhoods.

Make routes around every school safer. In year one, publish a citywide priority list of safety improvements and start quick-build fixes at the highest-risk locations.

Improve lighting, seating, shade, accessibility, and upkeep so parks, sidewalks, and public spaces feel welcoming, comfortable, and cared for.

Fix what isn’t working with pay parking. Work with residents and businesses to adjust rates and locations based on feedback and data, improve options for caregivers and frequent medical visits, and publish a yearly report on revenue, costs, and results.

Support vibrant main streets and local businesses that make our neighbourhoods active, welcoming, and connected.

Strengthen climate resilience close to home. Grow our tree canopy, improve shade, and help existing apartments and stratas adapt to hotter summers.

A City Hall That Listens, Explains, and Delivers
Local government works best when people have a real voice, understand how decisions are made, and trust that the City will follow through.
I’ve spent my career bringing people together, balancing different perspectives, and turning complex challenges into practical plans. I’ll bring that same approach to City Hall.
I WILL:

Bring more voices to the table, with more accessible ways for working families, renters, newcomers, seniors, and youth to help shape our city.

Strengthen public education and engagement on key City decisions, with clear information and meaningful opportunities to give feedback earlier, before plans are finalized.

Make City Hall easier to understand. Keep sharing clear, practical explanations of budgets, utility bills, major projects, and important decisions, plus a simple annual summary of what the City did, what it spent, and what comes next.

Publish a quarterly public scorecard showing progress, delays, completed items, and costs.

Make it easier to open and grow a local business, with clearer timelines, a fast track for simple applications, and one accountable City contact for complex files.

Bring a stronger financial lens to major decisions, weighing long-term costs, benefits, and trade-offs, while making the numbers public and understandable.

Hold quarterly community office hours as dedicated opportunities for residents to ask questions, raise concerns, and share feedback directly, while remaining accessible and responsive throughout the year.
